![]() Manually adjusting all these layer colors for dozens of exported cad files does not sound pleasant. Is there no way to control this? I would prefer it to just give them the same color as their category, rather than just seemingly making up a random color for it. They come in as random colors instead of just being put in the default color that walls category are supposed to come in as. Most annoying are walls that are parts of these groups of units. Is there no way to control this?.is this just randomly determined to be any of the 255 index colors to differentiate the overridden layer types? ![]() This is chosen primarily to actually have the grid lines export into CAD with the right line pattern, and having it use the overrides is useful since it creates separate layers for the objects inside for example the curtain panels (mullion visible below in plan vs mullion that is actually being cut), but what seemingly is not useful is that there is no way to tell Revit what color in CAD to export these overridden objects as. I am using the "Export all properties BYLAYER, and create new layers for overrides" setting.
